    Hi,
I have installed Suse 9.0 from cd's now I want to update the system with
    latest patches etc...

I have downloaded the patches /&/ rpm directory from the update site and
    burned to cd.
I do this--if I crash the system or re-install, then I do not need to
    re-update on the net.

I tried to update with yast from the net but could not get past a << next >>
    same complaint as described lower.

*** This works fine for me on MDK withhout fail ***

So as I am still trying to learn Suse I do not seem to get yast to this.
I can not get past a <next> - complains about unable to read some
file/dir --named directory.3. Well on my system unable to locate with find
    command.
I tried to change install source but thats already pointiong to cd
    xxxxxx????? .
    So I am stumped

    Johan

May this be a good day for learning
Registered Linux user # 330034 - still learning
