I'm trying to build KDevelop 3 beta 1 on my SuSE 8.2 Pro for the first time.
When I run .configure, I get an error message that it can't find Berkely DB >
3. I have installed Berkely DB 4, and it is present in
/usr/local/BerkelyDB.4.2/
I've looked at the archives for KDevelop, and I can see that various people
have been hitting this since last May. I've tried using --extra-includes and
- --extra-libs on the .configure line, but it still doesn't find my BerkelyDB
I'm pretty sure some of the people here have installed KDevelop 3. As you're
on the same distro I have, you probably hit the same problem. Can any of you
give me an idea of how to continue?
tia
