    Hi Henne,

    Thanks for responding.

I downloaded the entire directory tree below
    ftp://ftp.oregonstate.edu/pub/suse/suse/i386/9.0 -- about 3GB of data.

    Here's what I get from ls -l:

    Here's what I get from du -h --max-depth=1:
    99M ./boot
    4.1M ./docu
    8.3M ./dosutils
    12K ./media.1
    3.0G ./suse
    94M ./unsorted
    3.3G .

Like I said, it looks like everything is there. What you don't see here
is that I did successfully download a suse/setup directory.

I imagine there's a straight-forward way to verify the integrity of the
downloaded data. I see the keys there. I didn't see anything about
that in any of the readme files, the archives, or the faqs. Any help in
that regard or getting the install going is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jim
