[SLE] DSL, VPI/VCI SuSE 8.2 Problems

OK. I set up my DSL using Yast2, my ISP told me to set it up using PPPoATM and gave me a vpi of 0 and a vci of 32.... using yast i did exactly that, i set up vpi/vci like yast said using 0.32 and i get:
SuSE Meta pppd (smpppd-ifcfg), Version 1.00 on psalm69.
We are disconnected.

We are disconnected.
Interface is eth1.
We are connecting.

pppd: Plugin passwordfd.so loaded.
pppd: PPPoATM setdevname - remove unwanted options
pppd: PPPoATM setdevname_pppoatm - SUCCESS:0.32
pppd: connect(0.32): No such device
We are disconnected.
pppd died: Fatal pppd error (exit code 1)
from Kinternet..
Suse won't start it on boot (which is how i wish to have it). i'm really perplexed and would like this issue resolved asap. i really HATE having to use WinXP.....
