nope. ufs is the standard bsd filesystem.

since you said this disk was partitioned on a mac, you probably need to
have support for their partition tables. in your kernel config, check in
file systems -> partition types and see if 'macintosh partition map
support' is enabled. there is also the possibility that fdisk doesn't
work with non-dos partition tables.
