    Hey there!

In 8.2 I had my CD-RW and CD working fine. I installed (fresh) 9 and
they still worked....even better. I ran KB3 once and since then my CD-RW
won't mount. When I drop a CD in it, it reads for a couple seconds then
spits it back out and the drawer stays out. When I try to mount it, the
drawer pops in and out several times then I get a message saying....no
    medium found.

    I have a desktop icon that mounts /dev/cdrecorder /mnt/cdrecorder. I
looked under yast2 and the CD drives and found it says /dev/sr0 linked
to /dev/cdrecorder. So, I switched around my desktop icon to /dev/sr0
and mounted it to the same spot. Nothing.

I have both devices, /sr0 and /cdrecorder, in my fstab. Everything looks
    fine there....but here it is.

    /dev/cdrecorder /media/cdrecorder auto
    ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
    /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom auto
    ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
    /dev/sr0 /media/cdrecorder auto
    ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0

I've tried commenting them out also. Nada.

Any thoughts? Maybe my CD-RW is broke...which would be nice.

    Tom
