I clicked the synaptic upgrade button to upgrade gtkhtml and synaptic quit.
The messages in the terminal window were I started synaptic are:
(synaptic:29648): Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkwidget.c: line 1827
(gtk_widget_hide): assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed.
The quit message:
/usr/sbin/synaptic: relocation error: /usr/sbin/synaptic: undefined symbol:
_ZN15pkgVersionMatchC1ESsNS_9MatchTypeEi
Is the fact that synaptic quits with this message an error in synaptic?
Thanks,
Jerome
