As well as the other answers you have received, there is also the fact that if
a thread doesn't interest me, then I skip it.
So if there is thread (Radeon ATI for example) in which I have no interest I
won't read it, if you then ask a question on that thread that I could help
you with, I won't ever get to see it and I won't ever get to help you.
So, its also in your own interests.
