    We rebooted. It did not help.

    No. We use GRUB.

    Actually it said Athlon on the right side, but as far as I can se in /
    boot/ and /lib/modules/ the default kernel was installed.

    I will try that if mk_initrd + ldconfig + reboot does not solve the
    problem.
