    Check your subnet masks for typos...

    hp <--> desk
    hp <--> dell

    Its almost as if you hp has set up two distinct
    wireless virtual lans, and is not bridging between the two.

    If this were wire it would be easier, but I'm not that familiar
    with ah-hoc mode.
