            ~ maybe you do not have to reinstall SuSE

     . . . you only have to Partition the new HardDisk, then, make File System,

     finally, mount your new partition, on, say /mnt
     , and, TAR your system to the new partiton , like :-

                    tar clf - . | ( umask 0; cd /mnt; tar xvf - )
