I have a modem I'm trying to configure on my father's newly SuSE-fied PC. It
is (alledgedly) a real PCI modem, but doesn't show up in YaST's modem
    configuration.

Is there any way to tell which port this modem is appearing as? What's the
easiest way to test it? And how is it actually used? (I use a broadband
connection, so I've never had to set up a modem before!)

    TiA
