Hello all,
I'm running SuSE 9.0 and I'm trying to update Gnome from 2.2 to 2.4
using the packages on SuSE's website. All the files have installed
successfully, but when I run Gnome, it seems to load up about 10
nautilus apps (you know, on the little pop-up window that comes up as
Gnome is loading). However, after Gnome loads up, I have no icons on
the desktop and I can't do anything with the desktop at all except what
I can do via the panels. The desktop is absolutely blank and I can't
right-click on it to bring up a menu, nor can I left click to select
something (not that there's anything there to select anyway). The HOME
icon is in my top panel and it does nothing. When I try to run nautilus
through the "run" option in the menu, I get nothing. Nautilus doesn't
seem to work.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Jack
