I finally found where the www.suse.de was planted and substituted my own ISP.
I am still getting a DNS failure when attempting to dial my external modem
--whether using kppp, kinternet or wvdial. The result with all is a modem
that indicates it is connected while refusing any access to the internet
--kmail, firefox, mozilla, netscape, konqueror, realplayer all tell me they
cannot find the server.
I could really use some guidance on this one.
