Can anybody help with this message in /var/log/warn? We get it when the
machine boots as well.
mtrr: type mismatch for fd000000,800000 old: write-back new:
write-combining
Doing a little googling and of course reading Documentation/mtrr.txt it
looks like it is video related, but this is a server, no one was using
it at the time of these messages. Yes X is running, I know, I know, but
with nothing happening on the console, I wouldn't expect to see video
related errors in the logs.
The errors occurred twice today, right around the time we were having
other network related problems on the machine.
This is the same Dell 6650 that I've been having intermittent hangs and
other nastiness, wondering if this is related.
Your thoughts are appreciated.
Andy
