[SLE] System crashes

    Hello everybody.
    This is my first time I post in this list.
    I have been using SuSE since many years. Now I am using v. 8.1.
    It worked fine until yesterday, when I resized (enlarging it) the reiser
    partition where SuSE is installed. All seemed OK. But when I start the
    system here what happens:
    system boots and the kernel is loaded. Then the services start. But when the
    process reaches "starting kdm service" the system crashes and reboots.
    (endless loop).
    Any hint?
