[SLE] Setting PATH??

    On SuSE 8.2, default shell

    I'm trying to find where some parts of the PATH variable are being set.

    I know about /etc/.bash.bashrc and ~/.bashrc. I also know about ~/.profile
    (although I'm really not sure that it's being used.

    Would someone here be so kind as to list what files are processed at startup
    where this could be set. It would *REALLY* be nice to know in what order, but
    I could figure that out if I knew for sure which ones are used.
