The SuSE 9.0 Administration Guide says that the most current configuration is
in /boot/vmlinuz.config. It goes on to say that this file can be copied to
the Linux source directory for a starting point.
The problem is that this file doesn't exist. I've searched the archives back
through November for the word config, but I don't see a reference to it. I
can use cloneconfig, but there is no guarantee that I'm going to get the
config in the kernel; cloneconfig asks questions about the configuration.
Unless I know the answers used for the release kernel, there are going to be
differences. I'd guess that taking the defaults on all questions *MIGHT* be
OK, but I don't know.
How do we get a starting point in 9.0??
