    It is really a bug :

    In file kdebase->kicker->applets->clock->clock.cpp
    replace line 1021 : || paletteBackgroundPixmap())
    by : || _clock->widget()->paletteBackgroundPixmap())

    compile and install files : clock_panelapplet.la and clock_panel applet.so

    and it works !!

    Don't know where to send the patch.
