    If you are not using any other SCSI disks you will want to look for sda
    messages in dmesg for finding the drive to mount such as sda1. With the
    hotplugging working pretty good today an icon should show up on your
    desktop (KDE) automatically within a couple of minutes for you to click
    on. This has been working for me pretty well since 8.0 days. You may
    also want to look at a different card reader if this one does not work.
