    I had the accuracy to use X3 parameter, that could be right for skipping
    dialtone waiting (in Italy there is no long and continous dialtone before
    dialing the number).
    Is there someone who could provide me info about solving this bug??
    This is the configuration file of wvdial:

    [Dialer Defaults]
    Modem = /dev/ttySL0
    Baud = 460800
    Init1 = ATZ
    Init2 = ATQ0 X3 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
    Init3 =
    Area Code =
    Phone = 7020001099
    Username = *****
    Password = *****
    Ask Password = 0
    Dial Command = ATDT
    Stupid Mode = 0
    Compuserve = 0
    Force Address =
    Idle Seconds = 30
    DialMessage1 =
    DialMessage2 =
    ISDN = 0
    Auto DNS = 1
    Modem Name =
    Modem Type = Analog Modem

    and this is the output prompted trying to connect

    linuxgl:/home/gl # wvdial /etc/wvdial.conf
    --> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.42
    --> Warning: section [Dialer /etc/wvdial.conf] does not exist in
