    | | Hey all...
    | |
    | | I'm having a problem, and google has not been much help. I really need
    | | to run sensors on my epox 8RDA+ mb running SUSE 9.0. I tried running
    | | sensors-detect. It tells me that I need to run the i2c-nforce2 module.
    | | But, it can't seem to find it. I looked on the lm_sensor site, and from
    | | the problem database, if I understood it correctly, they said I had to
    | | run the SuSE version..
    | |
    | | Any help would be appreciated... I need to get my folding up and
    |
    | | ./CD1/suse/i586/sensors-2.8.0-78.i586.rpm:
    | -rw-r--r-- root root 1285 Feb 17 2003
    |

    | Then do no use the 2.6 kernel apps. The first should match the 2.4
    | kernel.

That's the package I've installed and for whatever reason it did not
install the i2c-nforce.o unto my system. I tried reinstalling and still
no go. I tried to build the i2c-lm_sensors with alot of errors (
According to the lm_sensor webpage, I'd have to go through all of their
code and replace HZ w/ 100) However before it died it did create an
i2c-nforce.o file. Looking through the man pages on sensor &
sensors.conf are beyond me at this point. One other thing may be a
problem I made the i2c-nforce.o w/ 2.8.5 and the sensors installed is
2.8.0-108, the web site only mentions that there was a change w/ 2.8.XX
so this may not be to much a problem. Running sensors-detect does not
find the i2c-nforce.o when place in
    /lib/modules/2.4.21-99-athlon/kernel/drivers/i2c/, If someone could tell
me where it could go for sensors-detect to find it I would apprecite it.

    Thanks for help
