    Hi all,

I'm having a serious problem with SuSE 9.0.
The system seems to run well, but sometimes it just stops.
Further If you use USB or ethernet witha very heavy load it also just stops.
Nothing in /var/log/messages it just hangs.

Looking with dmesg it see a lot of IRQ routing conflicts, and indeed they
are related to the USB, ethernet and IDE controller.
From /proc/interrupts it becomes clear that the external IDE card and One
of the USB controller share interrupt 4 and At interrupt 12 there is the
ethernet controller and another USB controller.

Anybody knows how to solve this?

    System:
    Asus A7V600-X
    onboard IDE + SATA
    onboard ethernet
    onboard 4xUSB 2.0
    external SIL680 raid controller
externat S3 SAVAGE AGP video card

    Thanks in advance.

Met vriendelijke groet / Best regards,
