    Problem:
After installing SuSE 9.1 and logging in the menus and the icons in the
KDE menu are way too big.
Trying to solve this problem in KDE Control Center does'nt help. At this
moment there's no "easy" way of handle this ... :(

    Solution:
Re-install SuSE 9.1. At the end of installation, last stage where you
set Graphics, set resolution at a low level, 800/600 or 400. When you
log in for the first time then you're able to set a higher resolution
    (1024 and up).

There may also be worth trying to set the "real" settings for
DisplaySize in XF86Config. As default my settings were too low and when
I changed them my KDE settings got better...

(I've got nice resolution for my regular user account but there's
problem with at least one account, e.g this solution does'nt seem to fix
    everything :(

This problem has to be addressed to SuSE! It seems that this release was
delivered a little bit too hasty.
    /Dan
