    (sorry if this is a bit long, but I wanted to include enough info)

    Hi,
    I can't seem to get apache2 and php working together here.
    If I don't install apache2_mod_php4 then apache works properly, but as soon
    as I add modphp then apache2 won't serve pages.
    Doing: /etc/init.d/apache2 restart -e debug
    gives me:

    Starting httpd2 (prefork) [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247):

    When I try to access any page on the server, I get this:

    [Mon May 31 11:42:14 2004] [notice] child pid 14115 exit signal
    Segmentation fault (11)

    Interestingly, nothing is showing up in the access.log, so the problem must
    be occuring very early on.

    Is there any way to fix this, or alternatively to find out which/what child
    process is dying?

    thanks in advance for any help,
    Nik
