OS: SuSE 9.1
NIC: AsusTek nForce2
I have been experiencing two strange problems which may (or may not)
be related:
1. Pings to this system from the same [lightly loaded] subnet
will proceed normally (1/second) and then stop for a few
seconds before resuming normal rate. Stats indicate 10%
packet loss.
2. When I ssh into the system, the session will disconnect with
message displayed:
READ from remote host x.x.x.x: Connection reset by peer
Any idea what may be causing these problems and what to do about them?
Thank you,
Lucky Leavell
