[SLE] Audio CD sound not heard ....

    Dear all,

    I have encountered a problem in listening audio CD on my computer: after a quick set up I have been able to make the machine recognise the audio CD device
    for almost all the CD player softwares I have in SUSE 9.0 PRO, but I am not able to hear any sound. I am sure that the audio card works fine (sound for games, desktop themes, etc is ok), but I am not able to solve the problem about listening music from CD. I have tryed to rowse the mailing list, but the hints are not so useful.
    Does anyone have the same problem of mine?
    My CD drive is, indeed, a combo CD/DVD R-RW on a SONY laptop, and it works fine for all the other purposes .
