[SLE] Promise (fasttrack) pdc20378 on motherboard aka using all 2 SATA / 4 ATA and 2 ATA on the 20378 at one time on ASUS boards

my motherboard is a P4C800E-Deluxe ... but should be the same for the other
P4C800 ICH5/875P based boards
Bios detects the single drive that I've put on the pdc20378 controller
I have added drives on all the controllers to see if I could use them all
HAVE ANY OF YOU TRIED THIS
Or do I have to drop using the 2'nd ATA interface to get lucky ??
