    Hi Dee,

    That really sounds like a permission problem. I have occasionally had
    similar problems writing to Evolution mbox files after an upgrade and
    the problem was almost always lack of permission. Suggest that you
    verify that you have rw permission of each mbox that you are trying to
    write to.

    There have sometimes been evolution mbox issues that were resolved if
    the mbox.ibex files are deleted. These mbox.ibex files exist in every
    Evolution directory that contains an mbox file. The mbox.ibex files in
    evolution can be safely deleted. Evolution will rebuild the .ibex files
    as required and sometimes the deletion of these files will cure minor
    problems.
