I had a customer with some of the same sort of problems with Evolution.
Don't know how many of your "old" settings you brought over with you,
but basically, I had her remove all of the gnome hidden
files, .gnome, .gnome2, etc. and her .gconf directories. We kept the
evolution directory, which was copied from her old 9.0 install,
restarted evolution, ran thru the setup and all was right again. May
or may not help for you. You may also have to remove or rename your
evolution directory too.
