[SLE] /dev/301 - booting stops after kernel update

Hi,
After upgrading the kernel my system stops when booting and
checks /dev/301 ???
To go forward I have to type "exit" and press enter. This is of course not a
best solution when forcing booting via ssh seating many miles from the
server.
Does the Group have a solution?
