    I had a similar problem with RSTP protocol and was able to fix it in the
    following manner:

    Open Mozilla and enter the url of "about:config" without the quotes.
    This should provide you with an extensive list of preference settings.

    Right click the screen and choose new -> string from the menu that appears.

    Enter the preference name of "network.protocol-handler.app.mms", again
    without the quotes.

    In the next screen, enter the full path to the program you want to
    handle the protocol.

    Restart Mozilla

    Last but not least ... let us know if this worked ;-)
