    When I insert my USB mass-storage device SuSe does beep. When I then do
    a list in /media there is only one sda (sda4). I then did a mount
    /media/sda4 but got the error:
    /dev/sda4: Input/output error
    mount: /dev/sda4 is not a valid block device
