    Hey all...

This is not a major issue, but as I have the time before school starts,
I want to figure out how to get all the extra buttons on my laptop to
work. I have a gateway 600xl and it has four buttons by the power button
(symbols say they are mail, internet, help ?, and a small computer), it
also has 7 buttons on the very front to control the playing of CDs,
volume, starting a mp3 player (at lest in windows it did).

Not much that I have found (could be I'm not searching the right words)
on google. Of the 3 laptop keyboards in KDE none worked. I looked at the
/etc/X11/xkb files and they don't list the gateway. I thought about just
modifying one of the other ones but I am not sure where they got the key
codes from. I didn't find an answer when I first searched. Found a lot
of stuff defining them but not how they got them.

I ran a program (Can't remember the name, dammit gettin old) that gave a
whole lot of information when you pressed a key, but none of these
    showed up.

    Any help would be appreciated...
