[SLE] 8.2pro, php and Horde

    Hi,

    Having had a successful install of the stable version of Horde (incl. IMP,
    Turba & Kronolith) I have now installed CVS snapshot version.

    The problem I have is that messages in IMP do not display even if there is
    a message count showing new messages.

    The Horde list suggests this is a c-client libs issue, and recompiling php
    may solve it, and in particular, using the UW imap c-client libs dated
    2002.

    I complied the UW imap 'tools', then tried to compile php4.3.8 using the
    SuSE compile options, but pointing to the new UW libs. This did not work.
    I ended up with an error like 'can't find apache2-prefork.conf'.

    I've tried the new builds of (from SuSE):

    mod_php4-core-4.3.8-1.i586.rpm
    apache2-mod_php4-4.3.8-1.i586.rpm
    imap-lib-2002-45.i586.rpm
    imap-devel-2002-45.i586.rpm
    imap-2002-45.i586.rpm

    yet phpinfo still reports the 2001 c-client libs.

    QU: has anyone running 8.2pro:

    - Successfully run the CVS version of Horde, especially IMP; or
    - Successfully compiled php with a newer version of the c-client libs

    Any advice, suggestions or 'clue bats' would be appreciated.
