    The Personal Edition is lot "slimmer" than the Professional, but certainly fully functional.
    As a former debian user, you'll certainly be familiar with apt, so take a look at http://linux01.gwdg.de/apt4rpm/

    Lots more software available, including all the development tools you'll want.
