Try squidguard. It requires you to run squid and redirect. It's not
entirely comprehensive and it can be a bit overzealous, but it's pretty
effective. It's also not the easiest program to set up but with a little
patience you can do it.
The alternative is to find an ISP or proxy server that will give you
access that does the job for you. Ideally your ISP will run squidguard,
so you can set the proxy and they'll keep everything up to date.
