I only have a self signed key which came with SuSE. I can
see on google many sites which offer independent signature
keys thus removing the warning message when logging onto an
    https page from our server.

What do I do with these keys once I have them? Where do I
put them and how do I get Apache to use them?

    TIA Steve.
