You might also look at your plugins directory. I've had some big ol'
stability problems with Firefox and Mozilla (over several versions)
due to - I think - the java plugin. Simply renaming the plugins dir
to "plugins.bak" made stuff more stable, but at the expense of plugin
related features not working. :)
Anyway, you might check to see if there are newer versions of things
like flash and the java plugin you're using, among others. Or it might
just be that you got one of the bum versions.
