    Hmm.. All I can say is, I have a 300GB S-ATA Maxtor drive and
    it's working (with no problems so far) with this Silicon
    Image chipset (?) that is on ASUS P4C800-Deluxe... Anyway,
    IOW, that's not a limit for S-ATA.
