Running under 256MB might make things slow on older chips, i.e. celeron, k-6,
    p-III; but I'm running 9.1 & KDE w/ 128MB on an Athlon@750MHz, and it's
downright zippy. The only thing that slows my down is my 5400RPM HD :-P.
