    I never had any problems with the Cisco client, you can set the
    parameters so access to the local network is enabled, as a matter of
    fact, I think it was set to disable, but I still had access to the local
    network, perhaps it works the reverse of what it should.
    Unfortunately, I've since left the company when they were taken over.
