Just a bit of information relating to VIA EPIA Mini-ITX Motherboard and
    lockups when running SuSE 9.2.

I've been having problems with SuSE 9.2 on a VIA EPIA Mini-ITX Motherboard.
SuSE 9.2 would either lockup solid during the boot process or if I managed to
login it would lockup when running programs like MC or YaST.

I initially thought the problem was memory related. But after running the
memory test for a day ruled that out.

I appear to have isolated the problem to the power management package. I'm
still testing but when the powermanagement is disabled I have yet to have it
    lockup on me.

I'll repost if I find out further details.
