Hi,
I've got USB Sound Blaster MP3+. Reading all the docs it should work
under linux and alsa.
But I can not make it work with Suse 9.1
After I plug it, it is listed in plugger under Unknown as Creative USB
Audio. I can see it in Hardware Info as well (under USB section).
There is dmesg output which shows that the device is recognized. But,
it is not listed in yast2 sound, and it is not configured. There is no
sound as well.
Does someone have a clue whats going on and how to make it work?
Bellow is the releveant information from Hardware Info and dmesg.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Cheers
Sunny
System info:
Suse 9.1
linux:~ # uname -a
Linux linux 2.6.5-7.111-default #1 Wed Oct 13 15:45:13 UTC 2004 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux
linux:~ # rpm -qa | grep alsa
alsa-tools-1.0.7-0.pm.1
pwlib-plugins-alsa-1.6.5-8
alsa-1.0.7-0.pm.1
If I go to yast/Hardware/Hardware info - under USB category there is
