    Hi all,

The problem seemed to be of my own making. After setting up mail with Yast, I
noticed that the usual "content_filter" line in main.cf and relevant lines in
master.cf wasn't there for amavis-new, so I added them by hand. This seemed
to work at first, but later I realised that a few people wasn't receiving
    mail.

Out of sheer desperation (and to get the MD off my back) I disabled amavis-new
(by removing those lines again) so that everybody could at least receive
mail. Some hours later I noticed that incoming mail was still being scanned!

So my guess is that SUSE has found a different way to plug amavis-new in to
    Postfix. Does anybody know how?

Another question, I noticed that if I send mail from the command line with
mailx, it's *not* being scanned, but mail coming in from outside is. Any
    ideas why?
