    Hello, all:

I mentioned in a previous e-mail, that I was able to get my PCMCIA wireless
network card working by using YAST to configure the card. I had previously
neglected to choose DHCP to assign the IP addresses.

Once I had Internet connectivity, the YOU online update feature offered to
update SuSE 9.1, so I allowed to do so. Included in the update, was an
ACX100 module for the D-Link DWL 650 plus wireless network card I use in the
    laptop.

Ater the online update completed, and after rebooting the laptop, I can no
    longer connect to the Internet.

I used YAST to configure the D-Link card, first using the commercial driver
I had purchased back in May, and which was working prior to the update, and
then, when that failed, I used the new module as the basis for the
    configuration. This failed also.

I have no idea where to go with this. Can someone help me find a way out of
this quagmire? I have no idea where to begin.

    Kindest regards,

    Glenn

(running SuSE 9.1 on a 3 year old HP pavilion ze5170 laptop)
