As much as I love SuSE, I would be wary that ANY
company would take over the world. SuSE is my
favorite linux distribution, right up there with
Debian. If I could, I would have bought stock in it
but it wasn't publicly traded (at the time),
contrarily to Red Hat, which was listed on the stock
exchanges. I'm wary of a trait of the human psyche:
the tendency to put all his/her eggs in the same
basket and to play it safe.
After all, that's how monopolies are born. Even
though I love KDE, I still would fund Gnome just to
keep an alternative going.
