I have just (successfully I think) set a fixed ip address in SuSE 9.1 by
way of editing /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth-id-00:blahblahblah
Is this the correct place to do this?
I'm not sure of my way around in Linux.
Thanks
Mike
>I think the best advice you gave me is to assign a fixed IP to the db
>(SuSE) server. That is what I will do.
