I have a ftp server (SLES 8) setup using vsftpd. There is only 1 user
who logs into it. We'll call him User1. I then have a group called
ftpusers which includes as members: User1. I have the permissions set
so that the owner of all files and directories is User1 and the group
owner is ftpusers. However, when User1 logs in and creates a file the
group owner is "users". Is there a way I can change this so the default
    group would be ftpusers?

My workaround solution is to have a cronjob that runs every couple of
    minutes and does a: chown -R User1.ftpusers /some/ftp/directory .

    Thanks,
    Ryan
