Hi,
Today I noticed that on my SuSE 9.0
(2.4.21-243-default) machine I cannot normally use cvs
to connect to a remote pserver machine anymore - cvs
just starts and does not produce any output but just
hangs - the memory size still growing and 89% of CPU
used. So then I tried to telnet to port 2401 on the
server machine and it turned out that telnet hangs the
same way (no matter what port number I supply)!
Even "telnet localhost 80" hangs, although I can
perfectly connect to my own machine (and remote ones)
with a web browser...
I reinstalled the telnet package and all others it
depends on (glibc, ncurses), but still the same
problem occurs.
Any gueses?
Really any help appreciated.
Adam
